To All Parents

 

Dear Sir/Madam,

 

Annual Athletic Meet

 

The 16th Annual Athletic Meet of this school will be held at 2.00 pm on Thursday, 1st  December.   Like in the past years this year, too, all the three sports meets - Primary, Middle and Senior Classes - will be held together at the Oman Club Stadium, Al Khuwair.  Mr Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Yahmadi, Director of Private Sports, Ministry of Sports Affairs, Sultanate of Oman, has kindly consented to preside and to give away the prizes.

 

For the convenience of the children of the lower classes (Classes 1 to 5) seating areas are shown, where the class teachers will receive them, on the reverse.  After the meet, which is expected to be over by 5.00 pm, you are requested to make arrangements to collect your child from there by informing his/her class teacher.   In order to ensure the safety of our children please fill in the proforma given below and return it to your child’s class teacher tomorrow morning.

 

All parents are cordially invited.  In spite of your commitment to your work I hope you would be able to spare some time to witness the sports meet, encourage your children and see how they do as athletes. 

 

There will be a rehearsal on 29 November, during school hours at the Oman Club Stadium and we will make transport arrangements from school and back that day for those children who are required for the rehearsals.

 

We shall look forward to welcoming you on the 1st December at Oman Club Stadium.

 

National Day Holiday

 

The school will remain closed for Oman’s National Day holidays on Saturday and Sunday, 3rd and 4th December, respectively.  We shall resume work as usual on the morning of Monday, 5th December.
