• When is school reopening for students ?

  • School is reopening for students of Class 12 on 3rd October 2021.
  • Reopening of school for other classes will be communicated to parents through a circular as and when the classes are about to resume.

• Is it compulsory for students to be vaccinated against Covid-19 while coming to school  ?

  • Yes, students must be vaccinated (at least one dose) and they should carry a copy of their vaccination certificate with them to show at the school gate.

• Who is the contact person in school if a child is having symptoms of COVID-19 or is feeling unwell  ?

  • School nurse

• Is there a quarantine/isolation room arranged in school in the event that any child is sick ?

  • Yes, an isolation room is available.

• If a child fall sick or is feeling unwell in school, will school nurse inform the parent immediately ?

  • Yes, school nurse / teacher will inform the parent.
  • Parent should collect the child from school within 30 minutes to minimise exposure to a hazardous environment.

• If a student is sick and has to stay home, what plans are in place and ensure students don’t fall behind in their schoolwork?

  • Teachers will help students online after school hours if there is such a necessity in deserving cases.

• What precautions will there be during physical education, indoor choir, band, or auditorium to make these activities more safe?

  • Outdoor sports will only be allowed which does not include contact sports.

• How many students will be accommodated in a classroom?

  • 24 students

• Can face shields be worn by children instead of masks? 

  • A face shield may be used along with a mask if the parents want extra protection.

• Is there any change in the winter break schedule ?

  • No change in winter break. Winter break begins on the 10th of December 2021 till 8th of January 2022. School reopens on the 9th of January 2022.

• Since the Class 10 Board exams for this academic year are cancelled, does it require us to stay in the county till the results are declared ?

  •  Not necessary

• When are we getting the TC if we are leaving the country for good before the results are declared ?
  • TC will be issued only after the results are declared
• If we are going outside the country for emergency reasons, will my ward will be able to attend the online classes ?

            - With  written permission from the Principal your child will be allowed to do so.

          - If the child is in KG or Pre Primary, it is possible and you may contact the concerned coordinators.
