RASHTRIYA EKTA DIWAS OBSERVED IN ISG

The 148th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhai Patel, an astute statesman and determined leader who fought tirelessly for India’s independence from the British rule, was celebrated as Rashtriya Ekta Diwas at Indian School Al Ghubra on Tuesday, 31st October 2023.

Sardar Patel’s commitment to unity and integration was unparalleled wherein he promoted the vision of a united India where every citizen had equal rights and opportunities. His efforts in consolidating the nation earned him the title of ‘Iron Man of India.’

The Principal, Mrs Papri Ghosh, the Vice Principal, Mr G Sreekumar, members of the staff and students of classes 9 and 11 participated in a March for Unity. They solemnly pledged to dedicate themselves to preserve the unity, integrity and security of the nation. The pledge was taken in the spirit of unification of the nation which was made possible by the visions and actions of Sardar Vallabhai Patel.

Daksh Gulecha shared information about the role of Sardar Vallabhai Patel while Mehnaaz Nazeer led the students in an oath where the staff and students solemnly pledged to dedicate themselves to preserve the unity, integrity and security of the nation.

Sardar Vallabhai Patel’s vision of India, his role as a unifier and true patriot was observed in the solemn event.
