Ace Swimmer of ISG proves her mettle with Medals Galore

Avighna Chinthala, a class 8 student of Indian School AL Ghubra won medals galore at various swimming competitions.
These richly deserved medals were bagged by her at various swimming meets.
At the Speedo International Swimming Meet held at Dubai the best swimmers from the region competed against each other and Avighna won 3 Gold, 2 Silver and 1 Bronze medal.
At the 9th Andhra Pradesh Aquatic championship at Narasaraopet, Andhra Pradesh she won the Gold Medal in 50 m and 100 m freestyle, 50 m, 100m and 200 m backstroke and was declared the Overall Individual Champion Swimmer.
At the 34th South Zone Inter State Aquatic Championship 2023 which took place at Basavanagudi Aquatic Centre, Bengaluru, Karnataka, she bagged the Silver medal in the 50 m backstroke and the Bronze medal in the 50 m, 100 m backstroke and 100 m freestyle.
Her winning streak continued when she bagged 3 Gold medals and 1 Silver medal in the Khelo India Junior Women’s Swimming series at Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh organised by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports in India.
This rich haul of medals by Avighna is the result of intense and dedicated training every single day of the week averaging around 15 hours per week for the past 7 years.
