GAVEL CLUB OFFICERS INSTALLED

The Club Officers of ISG Gavel Club were installed in a solemn ceremony held on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 in the school auditorium celebrating the beginning of a journey aimed at enhancing the public speaking and leadership skills of its members. The significant event highlighted the importance of leadership and installed the 49 club officers from the seven gems of ISG Gavel Club–Amethyst, Blue Sapphire, Citrine, Diamond, Emerald, Fire Opal and Garnet to discharge the given responsibilities diligently following the rules and regulations. The ceremony was graced by the Vice Principal, Mr G Sreekumar, District 105 Trio, Toastmasters International - DTM Saiju Victor, DTM Cyprian Misquith and DTM Ramanujam Raghavan as well as other distinguished toastmasters, DTM Bipin Kuriakose, DTM Praveen Panicker, DTM Suryakant Kirloskar and DTM Giresh Kumar.

The ISG Gavel Club Coordinator, Club Counsellors and the Club Officers were rendered the oath of office and were ceremoniously pinned the badges by the Vice Principal Mr G Sreekumar and District 105 Director DTM Saiju Victor, pledging to spearhead the club's endeavours by empowering its members to pursue effective communication, leadership skills, and personal growth. 14 gaveliers representing 7 clubs were acknowledged and recognized as the Most Promising Gaveliers for their vibrant, supportive and committed performance towards the success of the club.

 A stellar video presentation titled, ‘Journey of ISG Gavel Club’ showcased an inspiring address by the Vice Principal Mr G Sreekumar and the nostalgic contemplation of regular sessions and achievements at the Oman Gavel Championship of Public Speaking.  ISG Gaveliers have always marked their presence with their integrity, perseverance, confidence and excellence and have been appreciated for participating and winning accolades on several frontiers. 

The Club Coordinator, TM Ann Thomas exhorted the Gaveliers with informative and enriching experiences inspiring them to overcome the barriers and become successful, confident and empathetic individuals. The ceremony ended with TM Rakhi Paradkar proposing the vote of thanks and encouraging Gaveliers to enhance their leadership skills. The event was well-organised and ceremoniously conducted due to the dedication and commitment of the team of Counsellors – TM Rakhi Paradkar, TM Sneha Shamin, Ms Minna Susan Joseph, Ms Divya K, TM Vicily Varun, Ms Anju Nair and Ms Fathima M N, led by the Club Coordinator, TM Ann Thomas.

The Installation ceremony of ISG Gavel Club - 2024-2025 ushered in a wave of responsibility, leadership and humility, thus, spelling promise for the future.
