ISG CHAMPION SWIMMERS GRAB A HUGE HAUL OF MEDALS AT THE CBSE NATIONAL SWIMMING COMPETITION

The skillful swimmers from Indian School Al Ghubra won 7 medals at the CBSE National Swimming Competition held between 21st to 24th January at Genius School, Rajkot (Gujarat).

The ISG swimming sensation, Nitish Sai Harinath of class 8, impressed the spectators with hi agility as he swum his way to win two Gold Medals in the 50 mtrs Free style, and 50 mtrs Butterfly stroke in the Under 14 boys Category. Avighna Chinthala won a silver medal in the 100 mtrs Back stroke and two bronze medals in the 50 mtrs. Freestyle and 50 mtrs Back stroke, respectively.

The glorious surge of medals in the ISG kitty kept rising when the girls U14 Relay Team bagged two silver medals in two different relay events that is 4x100 mtrs. Freestyle Relay and 4x100 mtrs Medley Relay. The Relay team comprised Avighna Chinthala, N. Haripriya Satish, Jia Parijat Singh, Evani Joshi and Aditi Bhakat.

The swimmers from ISG were accompanied by Mr Surinder Singh and Ms Urmila Rawat. The swimmers have done the ISG fraternity proud with their stupendous achievement. 

The Principal, Ms Papri Ghosh and the school management lauded the team on the fantastic achievement and motivated them to earn many more laurels.
