ISG EXCELS IN ATHLETIC MEET ORGANIZED BY THE MINISTRY OF SPORTS AFFAIRS OMAN

The Ministry of Sports Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman organized an Athletic Meet for Private and International schools at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex on Saturday the 7th of December 2019.

Fourteen students from Indian School Al Ghubra participated in the Meet where they got the opportunity to compete against  fellow athletes from various other schools in Oman.

The ISG athletes excelled in various events such as 100 metres, 200 metres , 400 metres and 800 metres races, Long jump and High jump, Javelin and Shot put  throws and 100 x 4 relay races.

The Under 14 Girls team did their school proud by winning the Overall First position. The team consisted of   Mitali Satish Dalvi , Sneha Paikkttu Kovil, Numera Sheik, Diya Elzabeth Tomy, Hanisha Manish Chawla, Cleona Rodrigues,  Adhyasa Singh , Iraa Ashish Sambath.

The Under 14 Boys team won the Overall Third position. The team comprised Abinav Rajesh Pittan, Tom James, Bhargav Ramanathan, Sabyasachi Choudhry, Aadith Madhu, Aarnav Shivji Vekariya.

The ISG family congratulated the students on their success and wished the budding athletes great success in the future.
