ISG students set ablaze the World Teen Parliament with their outstanding performance

Students from Indian School Al Ghubra participated in the 4th edition of the World Teen Parliament (WTP) on January 19, 2025. This global event brought together teenagers from 25 countries and over 100 schools, with approximately 295,000 teen registrations leading to the selection of participants.

 

The WTP empowers youth aged 13 to 19 to voice their ideas and propose solutions to pressing global challenges. This year’s themes included sustainable development, social justice, and entrepreneurship. Participants submitted video entries and engaged in live discussions, culminating in the election of the top 100 candidates as Teen Members of Parliament (MPs) who will work on implementing their ideas over the next year.

 

14 students from Indian School Al Ghubra submitted their videos and participated in the 4th edition of the World Teen Parliament. Aqeedath Khanum, Behag Iyer, Bhoomi Toprani, Shreeja Thakur, Arunima Das and Seethlakshmi Kishore who gave an outstanding performance, got the prestigious opportunity to become a Member of the Parliament and Aayath Khanum, Sakina Kantawala, Anshul Date, Ardra Menon, Ananya Goyal, Niranjan Sunil and Minha Shameer have been elected as the influencers in WTP. 

 

The involvement of Indian School Al Ghubra’s students highlights the school’s commitment to fostering global citizens equipped with leadership skills. Their participation in the WTP not only enhances their personal development but also inspires others to contribute positively to society.
