ISG STUDENTS WIN LAURELS AT CONVERGENCE ARC 2023
Two students from Indian School Al Ghubra emerged victorious at the literary competitions conducted by The Emerald Heights International School, Indore.
The Emerald Heights Knowledge Convergence Arc was an online competition where students from various schools across India and abroad, participated in literary competitions. Jahnvi Krishna, a class 5 student won the Best Object Coordination prize in the Elucidate – Storytelling competition and Angela Mariam Kurien, a class 8 student bagged the Critics Choice Award in the Creative Writing (Prose) category. This phenomenal achievement is commendable as there were hundreds of participants from more than 40 schools.
Jahnvi narrated a self-written story of 1.5 minutes using Kerala’s traditional hand mirror as a prop (Valkannadi), with absolute clarity and confidence. Angela was expected to weave a story in an hour using a list of given words. The duo were exemplary in their performance.
The Principal, Ms Papri Ghosh and the Management acclaimed the duo and the Department of English on their fantastic achievement and exhorted them to scale to further heights.
