NEWS DETAILS ISG STUDENTS ATTEND HARVARD MODEL UNITED NATIONS CONFERENCE

The ISG delegation from Indian School Al Ghubra consisted of Michelle Rose, Eyden Binu Koshy, Sanjana Karunanidhi, Akshitha Santhosh, Mark Muthalali, Padmapriya Vijayanand, Niranjan Sunil, Aayra Amit Malhotra, Chitranggada Siddharth Chaturvedi, Alisha Afaq Ali, Sarah Mustafa Mukadam, Vaibhavi Ashok Shetty, Keith Yogesh Maniar, Nithin Krishnan Muthukrishnan and Devansh Paresh Kumar Navin Shah.

The ISG students, accompanied by Mrs. Maleka Ariwala, the MUN coordinator of ISG, were immersed in the world of International Relations with 3,758 delegates. The HMUNC experience created a learning environment that stretches well beyond the con?nes of the traditional classroom, through guided experiences that integrate spaces, places and people. The conference enabled the transformation of young students into global citizens, capable of taking on the world’s biggest challenges and translating them into opportunities through innovative solutions.

 Having interacted with not just the highest echelon of diplomats but also with youth from more than 41 countries, the ISG students returned with a renewed determination to make a difference and carry their experiences forward.

The Principal, Ms Papri Ghosh and the Management encouraged the students to incorporate the imbibed skills which are essential to hone them into effective and empathetic future leaders.
